Kwid, the entry level small car, is turning out to be a runway success for French auto maker Renault, at least that is what the emerging reports suggest. Renault Kwid, which started its India journey in September this year, has reportedly raked in about 70,000 bookings in the country so far.

The Kwid, the budget SUV hatchback that packs several features has been priced starting at Rs 2.56 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Needless to say, the pricing is definitely one of the reasons that made the new Kwid popular among Indians. The company had earlier confirmed that the bookings of Kwid crossed 50,000.
